well if amd had that lame marketing thing going yours would prob be a 1500+ or something.. so it's about even...

Mine is a Thunderbird core, far better than the Palaminos that replaced them (except for the actual clock speed), and by looking at the benchmarks, it's more like 1750+ or so.
Either way my point was you can get a nice video card for 100 bucks, any amount over that will give you only enough gain for you to marginally notice. The extra money you put into a ring, you'll definately notice.

I was ready to almost compromise with you on the first one.. but the 2nd... I'm just going to have to pretend you didn't say that....
so in regards to the first, don't even try to tell me that a 6800 or x800 is only a marginally noticable gain from a 5600 or 9600.. they're worlds apart..

Well, yeah the 6800's and the x800's are in another class altogether, I was thinking more of the same generation when I said that.

we're switching to VBulletin. Since it's highly unlikely I'll have to do any modding on it (the templates will stay the same), we can probably install different styles
