Default new comp and x800 cooling!
Alrighty!

I got an ati silencer 4 off hardforum to slap on my x800xt in hopes of a quieter system and a better OC.. It's definately quieter, but the OC is yet to be seen...

I haven't gotten around to the OC because i've been working on my new comp! As seen here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread....7&page=1&pp=40
I got that bad boy shipped to my door for $248... new..

See that thread for info on the specs.. but put simply, this thing screams for a $250 box... hell, it screams period... saying a celeron screams = :P

I plan on setting this up as an FTP/File server but i'm still working the kinks out...

oh and btw.. the CELERON's heatsink has... COPPER HEATPIPES!!! If anyone wants pics, let me know.. but they're cool (although hard to see w/o taking the whole thing apart)

Well, you screwed up and got the 6800 NU, and I'm ordering a X800 XT today. Oh, and J425, I'm getting mine for $479 with free 2nd day shipping from www.zipzoomfly.com ...The same card was $530 plus $6 S&H from Newegg...What a rip!

yeah he got his for $425. I got my card WITH the arctic silencer for $330 shipped.. I couldn't pass up that offer.. You and me gnogtr
will have very similar comps.

Yup we will, I'll have mine by Wednesday or so of next week...I couldn't order it today because my bank won't have my money in my account until tonight, and I need to put some more in this afternoon....
