Conclusion

The Z9 series is yet another sleek computer tower loaded with all the advanced features and excellent finishing work of a ZALMAN product.  ZALMAN proves once again that it delivers superior styling and performance in all of its’ products. The Z9 Mid Tower case is roomy enough to work on yet not bulky.  The clean lines on the exterior and simple Z design of the front bezel make this tower clean and sophisticated. For the gaming enthusiast that needs a spacious expandable tower without bright lights or glaring colors the Z9 is the perfect match. As far as performance is concerned, the Z9 has a properly laid out cooling flow with multiple fan options and configurations available to suit.  The inclusion of water cooling hose holes and 2 x 120mm top fan mount makes the conversion from conventional air cooling to enthusiast watercooling a breeze. The all black inside and outside finish is personally my favorite finish for a case and matches the standard color of many motherboard, video cards, and other components that are potentially visible through the side venting. Overall the ZALMAN Z9 is an excellent choice for the computer builder that wants all the features of a professional grade tower with the sleek sophistication of an all black finish.
