LG AX830 Glimmer
Introduction
So you want a touch screen phone, but you don’t want the problems associated with getting an iPhone? Assuming you’re an Alltel customer LG claims to have the phone for you. The AX830, or more commonly called the Glimmer, is a sliding touch screen phone that still has a 12 button keypad. The Glimmer is part of a series of phones including the Shine and other similar versions, based on the cell phone carrier. The Glimmer is a CDMA phone, meaning its core chip is made by Qualcomm, this means if you travel much overseas you should consider getting a GSM phone instead because it has better global support.
LG's Take:
"The Glimmer is radiant. Navigate easily with the large touch screen and slider. Enjoy multi-tasking by talking hands-free. Get creative with the music capabilities of the camera and camcorder."
