Packaging:
As you can see the Solano 1000 comes in a well protected package which will prevent scratches and dents during delivery. An internal plastic bag to protect the case from additional scratches. The package contents are as follows:
- Screw for FDD & Card Reader x4
- Screw for Motherboard and Hard Disk x37
- Thumb Screw( for FDD Bracket x8
- Thumb Screw for CD-ROM and DVD-ROM(in Black) x12
- Screw Nut for Motherboard x5
- Speaker x1
- Cable Tie x2
- T-shape cable tie x3
- FDD Bracket x1
- 5.25″ to 3.5″ drive bay x1
Unfortunately the 5.25″ to 3.5″ was not included in our case. We are not sure if this is standard or if this was simply omitted from our package but the fact stands as there was no such piece included in our box. In either case be aware that if you’re still kicking it ’90s style and you want to run that floppy disk drive it is possible you might have little bit of design issue. As you can see above you will have no shortage of screws. We do, however, wish that they would include a few more small cable ties to assist with cable management.
