Razer Boomslang Collector's Edition 2007 Gaming Mouse

Packaging:

As you can see from the above images, the packaging of the Razer Boomslang's is very similar, both had high detailed and uncommon packaging for a mouse, and both mice come enclosed in a commemorative tin lined with foam to protect the mouse. In the first image above, the new Razer Boomslang™ 2007 is on the left and the original Razer Boomslang™ is on the right side.

The Razer Boomslang™ CE comes in an all black case that has a very attractive brushed metal box-end clasp to hold the flap closed. This metal clasp has the beautiful Razer™ logo laser-etched into it. After removing the metal clasp, you open out the box-cover flap, exposing a lite soft tissue cover that protects your Razer Boomslang™ Collector's Edition authentic card which gives you your own unique sequential number for your new gaming mouse, as part of a 10,000 unit limited edition run. As you pull open this second flap, you can see the black decorative tin with the Razer™ logo pressed into the top of it. This box and case makes for a very memorable and protective housing for your new CE mouse.

Next we open the decorative tin and extract the contents to reveal that the this mouse comes with the software CD, two user guides from Razer™, extra teflon feet enclosed in a small zip-lock bag and the Razer Boomslang™ CE mouse. Note the very nice felt cover on the left side, that retains the software and CD during shipping and storage. Note also, the black dense foam and cutouts made into it to house and protect your investment from any scratching and/or damage during storage and/or shipping.

The entire unpackaging experience was a very positive one with Razer™ accomplishing a fantastic score by improving upon the great original packaging for the Boomslang™ 2007 Collector’s Edition mouse.
