The Backside:
To continue crawling around the case, we take a look at the back side of the case and continue on with the inside of the front panel.
The back of the case has the standard PSU opening at the top, ports for water cooling and a 120mm fan. The feature that is very attractive here is the nine peripheral slots where most cases only have seven or so. The additional slots are welcomed for the items that don’t need to be plugged directly into the motherboard but still need a expansion slot for things like the NZXT Sentry LXE which needs an expansion slot to access the interior of the case.
The lower front area of the case has two fans which pull air into the case with no hard drive cage obstructing air flow. | The upper area of the front of the case has just two 5.25″ access areas for additional peripherals like DVD ROM drives. |
Looking at the inside of the front panel we get a glimpse of the two fans which pull the cool air into the case along with the I/O cables for the USB 3.0 ports on the front of the case and the standard power button, reset and other I/O indicator lights. The picture on the right taking from the PSU window looking forward into the case you can see the two 3.5″ bays and the the access port on the roof of the case for the possible addition of another case fan on the roof of the case.
The PC-90 continues to have the same high quality sound reduction feet that other Lian Li cases have | Shown here (though kinda hard to see) is another access panel on the top of the case for an additional fan if you choose to add on. |
The bottom of the case has the standard Lian Li signature noise isolator rubber foot to cut down on noise that is transferred from the case to the hard floor or desk the case will sit on. The top of the case is a no frills, clean look with a hidden port for the possible addition of another case fan.
