Topic:  Events
Provider:  CES
Manufacturer:  CES

As quickly as the Consumer Electronics Show hit Vegas, it closed even quicker. At 3:00 today the lights went out at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Sands, and in halls throughout the show. CES brought some new ground-breaking technologies, announcements from many major technology companies, and more gadgets and gizmos than could fit in a supermarket-sized Radio Shack.

The exhibitors began breaking down their booths and packing up for the trip back as soon as early morning. TechwareLabs will be bringing you many products previewed at CES soon. A few of the highlights include:

  1. A watercooled Xbox 360 by CoolIT systems
  2. The announcement by Google offering media.
  3. Keynote speeches by Bill Gates, Gary Shapiro
  4. Media and storage of all sizes shapes and colors, and
  5. Many, many more.

We did stop by the Creative booth to watch Fatal1ty destroy opponent after opponent. John is a friend of ours and we never tire of seeing just how hardcore his line of products is. Currently Creative Labs is carrying his line of X-Fi audio products that will give the consumers true 3D positional audio--quite handy for fragging those folks that spawn in behind you. Check out the pictures of John laying the smack down on some unsuspecting players. Of course, as we saw in Computex, John well deserves the title of world champion as no one even came close.

Ridata showed us some portable USB pen drives that have an encrypted partition and will come preloaded with media and software from OEM's. Ridata is currently the number one provider of recordable media in the market. They also had a portable OEL media player and solar battery charger to demonstrate. We will be bringing you reviews of those products as well.
